Located in England's beloved Lake District National Park, Scafell Pike stands at 3,209ft (978m). The rolling hills and valleys surrounding England's highest peak typify the Lake District: comparatively gentle peaks and troughs, littered throughout with glacial valleys, lakes and tarns.
Scafell Pike is the second stop on the UK National Three Peaks Challenge.
Scafell Pike Mountain Ornament
Much less dramatic than its Scottish and Welsh counterparts, Scafell Pike crowns a ridge of relatively gentle peaks, which together once formed the caldera of a volcano. Faithfully recreated in this ornament, you can trace the ridge line from its origin in the south west to the conveniently named "Great End" in the north east.
A topographically accurate ornament of Scafell Pike, crafted out of sandstone material with a matte varnish finish, presented on an inscribed oak display base.
